BUFFALO, N.Y. — The team behind Twentysix is developing a new site in Allentown.
Next Door is located at 20 Allen St., formerly home to Funky Monkey and Adonia’s. As the name implies, it’s right next door to Twentysix at 26 Allen St., which opened in spring 2023 at the former Cathode Ray.
NextDoor Allen LLC paid $550,000 to buy the building from GGS Realty in a deal that closed Nov. 21. The LLC is owned by Zachary Berbary, Michael Moch, Michael Schreiber and Amanda Gentzler, the same team that opened Twentysix. They recently filed a 30-day notice with the city ahead of a liquor license application.
