NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Sonic Drive-In is coming to Niagara Falls, with a new franchise planned for Military Road at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA.
A site plan for the $2.5 million project, expected to be filed in late January with the Town of Niagara, calls for demolishing a vacant outparcel building and putting up a 2,500-square-foot restaurant with two drive-thru lanes and 15 delivery stalls.
The project comes from franchisee Kevin DiPirro, who in late 2022 said he was scouting the region to identify locations for up to six more sites. He has rights for up to eight stores in the region.
