BUFFALO, N.Y. — Restaurateur Russell Salvatore has denied discrimination allegations including sexual harassment of a former female bartender and violations of state labor and human rights laws, according to a response filed with Supreme Court in Erie County on Oct. 25.
The 92-year-old owner of Russell’s Steaks, Chops & More denied nearly all of the allegations included in a lawsuit initially filed April 24 and amended late this summer.
The complaint also named 6675 Transit Road LLC, doing business as Russell’s Steaks, Chops & More, as well as Mark Jerge, Salvatore’s business partner at the Williamsville restaurant. All three were named in the response filed by attorneys at Bond Schoeneck & King PLLC.
