NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Marriott Courtyard in Niagara Falls is planning a $14.3 million expansion that will double the number of guest rooms.
The project, which is expected to get a review by the City of Niagara Falls planning board in late September, calls for a four-story, 50,000-square-foot addition to the existing 70,000-square-foot building originally built in 1912 as a chocolate factory.
According to Nirel Patel, president of Rupal Hospitality, the project will add 84 more guest rooms to the 82-room hotel at 900 Buffalo Ave., plus an expanded entrance and lobby.
