A restaurant and motel near Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicotville is under new ownership.

ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. — A family-run investment group has purchased a motel and former restaurant just outside Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, and has already begun renovating the property.

Route Two Nineteen LLC purchased 6089 Route 219 S. from James and Janet Tekavec for $1.4 million. The property houses two buildings — the former Slopeside Bar and BBQ, which closed in 2021, and the 12-room Telemark Motel.

It's a place with plenty of history for Dawn Barczak Hogan, who purchased the lot with several of her relatives. She worked at the restaurant as a teenager, back when it was called Cadillac Jack's.
