BUFFALO, N.Y. — A fast-growing Buffalo restaurant chain is facing a new lawsuit for nonpayment of services.
Rachel's Mediterranean Grill was named in a complaint filed Aug. 5 in Erie County Supreme Court by Lamparelli Construction Co. Inc. for nonpayment of construction services.
Lamparelli’s complaint pointed to invoices for work totaling $283,392 completed since 2021 at five Rachel’s restaurants in Erie County. The bulk of the dollars are owed for a new store at 3030 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst, where work stopped in May.
