NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Watching Bryan Lozinsky work with customers is like watching a group of siblings.
As people walk into Niagara Sausage Co., Lozinsky greets them all by name — or nickname. Some come into the 13-year-old shop a few times a week for one of its 50 types of sausage; others for cold cuts, cheese, fresh cut beef, meatballs or even a giant sausage-stuffed mushroom.
He’ll also offer a beer or something else to drink out on the back patio. And it’s no different for new customers, each of whom are gifted a package of co-owner Norm Schneider’s famous breakfast sausage – including this reporter.
“I'm not greasing the wheels — we do that for everybody,” Lozinsky said. “We’re keeping people happy.”
