AMHERST, N.Y. — Northtown Automotive Group plans to spend more than $40 million on four big projects in Amherst, Cheektowaga and Clarence.

Some of company’s growth-driven projects have been “in flux” since the pandemic, but construction has progressed this year on three new dealerships — Subaru, Volkswagen and Genesis — and a Subaru service center, according to Larry Schreiber, owner and co-president of Northtown.

“We are spending in excess of $40 million just in construction, and that excludes the land acquisitions and investments in equipment and inventory,” Schreiber said.
