BUFFALO, N.Y. — A new coffee shop is opening in the coming weeks to Hertel Avenue.
The Bean on Hertel is expected to open in September at 1862 Hertel Ave. in Buffalo where the Daily Planet closed in July.
The café is a project by Jamison Phillips, owner of JP’s Checkers a few doors down, in partnership with his cousin, Nick Phillips. The building is owned by developer John Daly.
