EAST AURORA, N.Y. — Gene and Suzy O’Donovan’s decision to shut down the Irishman Pub and Eatery in East Aurora and replace it with two pizza and frozen yogurt concepts is part of a bigger plan that could have national implications.
In the coming weeks, the couple expect to open Favo Pizza & Draft House and a YoTality Frozen Yogurt & Creamery at the 3,200-square-foot space they lease at 160 Main St. where the Irishman opened in 2019.
The couple also operate YoTality sites in Williamsville and the Village of Pittsford, where Favo Pizza opened its first location seven years ago. That’s in addition to the Irishman Pub at 5601 Main St. in Williamsville, in business for about 17 years. Their current combined staff of 155 is expected to grow by another 20 full- and part-time employees when the new sites open.
