Popular Mexican restaurant opens in Downtown Buffalo

Something new and different is coming to the area.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The team behind Andale Cantina is heading downtown for a fourth location, where it will take over space at 500 Seneca vacated earlier this year by Compass Run.

The project comes from Amigos Del Pueblo Cuatro Inc., owned by four partners who already operate three locations of the Mexican restaurant in Depew, Williamsville and East Amherst. The new site will be a bit different: Andale Tequila Bar will have similar décor to the others, but a slightly different menu for both food and drink with recipes inspired by Mexi-Cal cuisine.

“We’ll take the best of the three we have and put it into one, and get new ideas and new items,” said Francisco Audelo, who owns the company with his nephew Roberto Audelo, Edgar Guzman and Fernando Guzman.
