BUFFALO, N.Y. — And with small and midsize businesses more concerned about finding talent than the prospect of headcount reductions, many are turning to artificial intelligence and other emerging tech tools to alleviate those pains.
That's one of the takeaways from Verizon Business' annual State of Small Business Survey, which found more than a third of small and midsize businesses (35%) believe AI can help reduce the challenges caused by labor shortages.
About 45% of small businesses are interested in using AI to free up more time to spend on core business operations — helping negate the effects of hiring challenges.
