A Buffalo Rite Aid store has been sold to a local investor for $1.6 million

The Rite Aid store at 350 Niagara St., Buffalo, has been sold to a local investor for $1.6 million, according to records filed with the Erie County clerk's office.

Rite Aid, a major U.S. pharmacy chain, said Sunday, Oct. 15, that it has filed for bankruptcy as part of its effort to restructure its finances.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Rite Aid store at 350 Niagara St., Buffalo, has been sold to a local investor for $1.6 million, according to records filed with the Erie County clerk's office.

350 Niagara LLC, a company managed by Cheektowaga resident Adnan Ahmed, bought the building at the corner of Niagara and Virginia streets from Rite West Partners LLC, an affiliate of Long Island investment group Bluejay Management.

Bluejay bought the Niagara Street Rite Aid in 2014 for $2.06 million.
