BUFFALO, N.Y. — It's nearly time for the curtain to rise on the Caz, a new South Buffalo music venue under construction in a former bank building.
Developer Jake Schneider said he wasn't sure exactly what to expect when crews started carefully gutting the 103-year-old building at 2221 Seneca St., but he was pleasantly surprised by all the intact historical details that had been covered up over decades of renovations.
The building, originally Southside Bank, most recently housed Bank of America, which closed the branch in 2016.
