BUFFALO, N.Y. — Gino & Joe's Famous NY Pizza is moving from Main Place Mall to the Brisbane Building, less than a block away from its longtime home inside the Main Place Mall.
The pizzeria will locate to the corner of Main Street and Lafayette Square that most recently was occupied by a Cricket Wireless store and before that a jewelry store and an H&R Block office.
It’s a major boost for the pizzeria, one of the last remaining food businesses operating at the mall following the pandemic-shutdown of the food court and other interior retail sites. Though Gino & Joe’s has its own exterior entrance on Main Street, recent construction on the block has made it difficult for customers to access the restaurant.
