Coffee shop to open at former Clarence bank branch

Bank conversions like the one in Clarence or completed projects like one at Sheridan and Delaware in Buffalo are an easier lift.

CLARENCE, N.Y. — Tim Horton’s is developing a new branch in Clarence at a former bank branch.

Franchisee Kelton Enterprises LLC has signed a lease for the former Community Bank site at 8503 Main St., a building that was acquired this summer by Benderson Development for $495,000.

Pending approvals from the Town of Clarence planning board, the 2,200-square-foot building at the southeast corner of Main and Harris Hill will be converted into a 30-seat restaurant with drive-thru, said David Beaton, Kelton co-owner.
