Century-old Elmwood Village home sells for over $1M

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The summer continues to be a hot season for million-dollar home sales.

The latest deal: A 114-year-old Buffalo home in the Elmwood Village.

John and Elizabeth Mitchell, as trustees under the John A. Mitchell Revocable Living Trust and the Elizabeth S. Mitchell Revocable Living Trust, recently sold 59 Cleveland Ave., Buffalo for $1.1 million to David Zemsky, according to June 28 filings with the Erie County clerk’s office.

The one-family residence was built in 1910. The 3,915-square-foot home has six beds, 3.5 baths and two fireplaces, based on Erie County Real Property information.
