TONAWANDA, N.Y. — Pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer IMA Life North America has purchased 15 acres of vacant Tonawanda land for $2.29 million to prepare for the planned construction of an 80,000-square-foot facility.
The company purchased 700 Colvin Woods Parkway from I-290 Colvin Associates LLC, an affiliate of Ciminelli Real Estate Corp., according to documents filed with the Erie County Clerk's office.
IMA Life makes freeze-drying equipment for the pharmaceutical industry. It previously announced plans to spent $27.6 million on a new facility, supplementing its existing 50,000-square-foot facility at 2715 Military Road.
