BUFFALO, N.Y. — A dog and pet food manufacturer in Buffalo has purchased a neighboring industrial building in the city.
The J.M. Smucker Co., which owns the local Milk-Bone plant, paid $1 million for two parcels at 127 and 129 Kehr St. in Buffalo, according to a deed filed with the Erie County Clerk’s office. Together, the parcels equal nearly one acre.
The Smucker Co. purchased the property from Kehr-Buffalo Wire Frame, a small, family-run company that was owned by brothers George and Jim Rogers before it was recently acquired by the Chicago-based Stanley Spring and Stamping Corp.
