Toronto-based and NY medical cannabis brand moves forward with adult use dispensaries

The other company with ties to Western New York that got approval was PharmaCann, which owns the Verilife medical cannabis dispensary in Amherst.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Toronto-based RIV Capital and its New York medical cannabis brand, Etain, will begin to move forward with adult use dispensaries following a key approval from the state’s Cannabis Control Board.

The state granted licenses last week for six medical cannabis companies to start the transition to the adult-use market, and Etain was one of them.

With its 68,000-square-foot cannabis facility at Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park, RIV Capital will be the largest tenant of Zephyr Investments LLC’s planned 1.375M-square-foot cannabis production and R&D facility.
