West Seneca Aldi sold for $1 million

The deed prohibits the property from being used as a grocery store for up to 10 years

WEST SENECA, N.Y. — A former Aldi store in West Seneca has been sold for $1 million.

VA WNY Real Estate LLC, of Orchard Park, bought the half-acre property from Aldi Inc. New York, according to documents filed with the Erie County Clerk's office. The building is about 17,000 square feet.

A representative for the buyer declined to comment.

Aldi closed the store in 2021 after moving to a new, larger location up the road at 19809 Ridge Road. It leases that space from property owner Len Kreppel.
