BUFFALO, N.Y. — Renovations are well underway on a vacant three-story Buffalo building that was constructed in the mid-1800s.
A group of investors led by John Pantalena of Bronxville purchased 319 Connecticut St. early this year and have since spent more than $1 million on renovations.
The plan is to turn the first-floor space into a yet-to-be-announced restaurant, while the second and third floors will house six apartments, according to architect Tommaso Briatico.
"It's a really nice building, and it's very good to be able to take care of it and put it back together, and put it in a situation where it's going to be used for another 80 to 90 years," Briatico said. "It's a long-term solution, and it's a great building."
