BUFFALO, N.Y. — After breaking into the top 100 a few years ago, Buffalo has continued to move up in the U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Places to Retire list.
In the latest rankings, the Queen City came in at No. 59, an improvement from No. 75 last year and No. 99 the year prior.
The study evaluated the 150 most populated metro areas in the country, considering factors like affordability, health care quality, retiree taxes, happiness and job market.
