Mercy Hospital has begun work on the second phase of a $24 million renovation that will expand capacity for its two largest service lines.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Mercy Hospital has begun work on the second phase of a $24 million renovation that will expand capacity for its two largest service lines.

The hospital, part of Buffalo-based Catholic Health, is beginning a $13 million project to replace four of its existing cardiac catheterization labs. The first phase, valued at $11.4 million, was completed earlier this year.

When completed in fall 2025, the entire unit will have been updated with new Phillips technology in the Heart Center at Mercy Hospital campus at 565 Abbott Road.
