BUFFALO, N.Y. — Although it survived a recent round of companywide closures, TGI Fridays' downtown Buffalo location now appears to be closing at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Buffalo-Downtown.
Buffalo Hotel Associates LLC, an affiliate of Visions Hotels Inc. – the company that owns the Holiday Inn – notified the City of Buffalo it plans to apply for a liquor license at the 601 Main St. site for a restaurant and full liquor license.
A legal assistant at the law firm representing the company who signed the notice confirmed a new restaurant will replace the TGI Fridays.
Separately, the space was listed on April 19 by Donovan Real Estate Services as available for lease beginning June 30, 2024 or sooner with a 30-day notice.
