BUFFALO, N.Y. — Temple Beth Zion is in the midst of a $12.8 million renovation of its synagogue on Delaware Avenue, with a mix of long-needed repairs and more transformative projects to accommodate leaders' goals for the future.
Temple leadership also is considering the future Aaron and Bertha Broder Center for Jewish Education at 700 Sweet Home Road, Amherst, which houses its administrative offices. Part of the project at 805 Delaware Ave. will renovate existing space into new offices, allowing the temple to consolidate its operations.
"We're going to make 805 Delaware not only our spiritual home, but our administrative home as well," said Temple Beth Zion President Kenneth Polk.
