EAST AURORA, N.Y. — No, Taylor Swift isn't staying at the historic Roycroft Inn & Campus this weekend if she comes to town for the game between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs.
But that didn't stop the rumor mill from going crazy this week, says innkeeper Dan Garvey.
"You can't believe the calls I am getting," he said. "I would expect them from my nieces, etc. But I am getting calls from various dignitaries, long-lost relatives, old high school/college buddies who haven't reached out in decades. It's incredible!"
Garvey would know. Innkeeper since 2019, he's spent nearly 30 years working at the hotel/restaurant across the street from the Roycroft Campus in East Aurora. With 28 hotel rooms, the inn is more accustomed to hosting business executives, historic tourism and wedding guests than celebrities, though it has hosted its share of those over the years.
