SANBORN, N.Y. — SUNY Niagara plans to make a presidential candidate recommendation to SUNY this spring, as President William Murabito will retire after his contract expires June 30.
Kevin Clark, who is the chair of the SUNY Niagara Board of Trustees and on the search committee, said that while he can’t disclose how many candidates have applied for the position, there’s been “a lot of interest because of the reputation of the college.”
“We have a lot to brag about here at the college,” Clark said. “Our enrollment has increase, we have a fairly strong financial position, and we’ve had excellent leadership under Murabito.”
