“It’s rock & roll, beer and pizza,” Mullin said, “but we’re fully going to bring over some Jack Rabbit specials.”

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Riff City made its debut Nov. 17 on Chandler Street, where the owners of Jack Rabbit took over the former Tappo Pizza.

Several events have been held in the renovated space at 166 Chandler St. – including weddings – with a lineup of live music on the first floor and special events upstairs.

“The second floor is highly focused on putting on weddings and we’ve already done a few we inherited from Thin Man/Tappo so they didn’t have to cancel on anyone and we were able to get in there right away and start generating some revenue,” said Josh Mullin, whose Jack Rabbit partners include Jake Monti, Kevin Sampson and Simon Wilson.
