BUFFALO, N.Y. — Bryant & Stratton College will launch a nursing bachelor’s degree program on its Orchard Park campus this fall.
It’s the first time the college has offered a nursing program in Western New York, though it’s had similar programs at some of its other campuses in Rochester and Syracuse, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin since 2005.
“There’s really no nursing offerings in the Southern Tier, so this was a natural extension,” said Dr. Richard Guertin, director of the program. “As we do with all of our programs, you listen to the voices of the community, and they were all saying that nursing is a critical need across the state.”
