TONAWANDA, N.Y. — A warmer than usual spring has prompted an early opening for Mississippi Mudds in Tonawanda.
The river-front restaurant will open March 2 at 313 Niagara St., offering its regular menu of char-broiled Sahlen’s hot dogs, grilled chicken, burgers and sandwiches, vegan-friendly options as well as milkshakes and ice cream.
“We’re going to fine-tune some things, but it’ll be status quo,” said Frank Berrafato, who owns the restaurant with his family. “We know what the people of Western New York like, so we’re going to go for it for another year.”
