BUFFALO, N.Y. — A national healthy foods company is coming to Buffalo with a hospital-based site.

Freshens will open inside the Mercy Hospital cafeteria in mid-March as a replacement for the Subway shop that operated in the space for the past 17 years.

Mercy partnered with Aramark to contract with the national company, which operates more than 350 locations at airports, hospitals and 200 colleges and universities, including St. Bonaventure University and Alfred University.
