Following its mission takes retailer from Allentown to Williamsville

The Allentown location required going up stairs to get into the building, and parking nearby could be an issue.

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Sisters Emily Constantine Doren and Holly Constantine Ortman started Lace & Day in 2015 with the goal of helping women feel comfort and confident.

But the bra-fitting and lingerie store’s old location, a two-story home on Franklin Street in Allentown, wasn’t the best fit for that mission. That’s why the business moved to 7974 Transit Road, Williamsville, over the winter and had a grand opening in February.

“We want to make it easy for them to access us, because that’s the first piece" of our mission, Constantine Ortman said.
