BUFFALO, N.Y. — The residential real estate world is still parsing out what exactly the National Association of Realtor’s $418 million settlement could mean for the industry.
Vienna Laurendi, Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors president, has some questions herself. But amid national reports of concerns of more costs for buyers and issues for those in the real estate industry, she doesn’t think the settlement will have far-reaching local implications.
“It’s probably going to add some time to our day and to the organization of going out with our buyers, but that, again, will just be a change that we’ll get used to,” she told Buffalo Business First. “You get over things pretty quickly and you move on.”
