BUFFALO, N.Y. — The hotels division of Ellicott Development has taken over operation of The Hotel at the Lafayette, effective in early May.
Hotel at the Lafayette Trademark Collection by Wyndham joins 11 local properties in the Ellicott Hotels portfolio, including Aloft Buffalo Downtown, Comfort Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport and the Mosey Hotel in Williamsville. The company is led by William Paladino, with the hotels division managed by Tom Molenda.
The 34-room hotel at 391 Washington St. in Buffalo is inside the Hotel Lafayette building. Built in 1904, the French Renaissance-style hotel underwent a $42 million restoration by developer Rocco Termini and reopened in 2012.
