HAMBURG, N.Y. — Two years after a Hamburg manufacturer announced a 60,000-square-foot expansion, the project is underway and expected to be completed in 2025.

Staub Industries announced in early 2022 that it would expand its Staub Drive campus in the Village of Hamburg. The plan was for a 20,000-square-foot addition at its sister company, K&H Industries, across the street at 160 Elmview, and for a new 60,000-square-foot building at the end of Staub Drive — 3 Staub Drive — where Staub had purchased seven acres. Staub declined to say how much money it would invest in the project.

The expansion was delayed for a number of reasons, including supply chain delays for materials and high interest rates, according to Jonathan Halas, chief innovation officer at Staub.
