GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. — With no deal yet on a sale, the developer of the former Radisson Hotel on Grand Island says he’ll move forward with redevelopment plans.

That follows a decision to reduce the price in May for the 263-room hotel to $8.9 million, down from the $10.2 million price tag when the hotel at 100 Whitehaven Road was first listed for sale in January.

The hotel on the Niagara River closed in late 2022 as the Radisson Hotel Niagara Falls-Grand Island following a $6.15 million sale to Haven 100 Project LLC, a group that included Michael Conroe of Orchard Park-based Elev8 Architecture, and the Provo, Utah-based J.B. Earl Co.
