BUFFALO, N.Y. — Frequentem Brewing Co. is another out-of-town brewery that's opening in Buffalo. The 3,400-square-foot taproom will open Feb. 3 at 225 Louisiana St. inside the Barcalo Living & Commerce Center, the $40 million project by Karl Frizlen’s Barcalo Buffalo LLC.
Meagan D’Allesandro, who owns the Canandaigua brewery with husband David, said the space in Buffalo, first announced in late 2022, is ideal for events.
“This will be a bigger taproom than we have here and will give us the possibility to do events, which we get a lot of requests for here,” she said. “It’s really nice and bright. We have a lot of natural light coming into the space in Buffalo.”
The couple has rented an Airbnb for a few months just around the corner from the site, with plans to spend most weekends in Buffalo for the foreseeable future as the new taproom gets up and running.
