AMHERST, N.Y. — An Iskalo Development Corp. affiliate has paid $2.48 million for a food manufacturing facility in Amherst.
The building at 500 Creekside Drive was until recently the home of Mister Snacks, a manufacturer of trail mixes and other snack products.
The company last year was acquired by Howe Co., a candy and snack manufacturer headquartered in Grove City, Pennsylvania. Mister Snacks' operations moved to Pennsylvania after the acquisition.
500 Creekside Drive Inc., an affiliate of Mister Snacks, sold the 4.99-acre property to Iskalo 500 Creekside Inc.
The 28,000-square-foot facility was constructed in 1999. Misters Snacks has been its only occupant.
