BUFFALO, N.Y. — Rin Thai Bistro is returning to Elmwood Village with a new name – Rin Citi.

The 900-square-foot space at 1020 Elmwood Ave. most recently was the site of The Village Juicery. Rin Citi's new spot is a few doors down from 998 Elmwood where the restaurant lost its lease in 2021, before reopening at 4446 Main St. in Snyder.

Owner Rin Suphankomut said she’ll continue operating the Snyder restaurant, with the Elmwood site offering takeout and counter service with limited dine-in at six tables.

“We’re staying in Snyder, we’re going to keep going here – nothing’s broke so why fix it. But because we love Elmwood as well, and Elmwood would love us back, we’re going to go back there and try to have both,” she said.
