ELMA, N.Y. — Two new Italian restaurants are coming to the suburbs this spring.
Montemaggiore Italian restaurant is in development at 6150 Seneca St. in Elma, formerly home to the Merry Mart grocery and deli.
Owners Robert and Michele Biondolillo plan a full-service 99-seat restaurant with a casual Italian-American menu that includes chicken fingers, subs and wings.
“We live in West Seneca four minutes away from there and we’re constantly going to East Aurora and just happened to see the space being cleaned up,” he said.
