BUFFALO, N.Y. — Another national fast casual chicken franchise is eyeing Buffalo as part of a Northeast expansion into 10 states.
Slim Chickens is growing rapidly around the country with a menu that includes chicken tenders and wings, the menu also includes salads, sandwiches, chicken and waffles and sides plus 17 house made dipping sauces.
Founded in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2003, Slim Chickens now has over 250 locations and 1,200 locations in development across North America, the UK and Turkey with 70 expected to open in 2024.
The company has just begun talking to potential franchisees in New York along with Connecticut and Massachusetts after selling out opportunities in Virginia, Maryland and Central Pennsylvania, said Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development.
