CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Acquest Development is planning to demolish a small plaza at 3719 Union Road, Cheektowaga, and build a new one in its place.
The Williamsville company is seeking town approval for the project.
The Union Village Plaza is adjacent to Consumer Square and across the street from the Walden Galleria mall. It currently houses Sakura Sushi, several salons, medical offices and several other tenants.
Acquest plans to knock it down and replace it with a 16,102-square-foot building with three units, according to documents submitted to the town.
