BUFFALO, N.Y. — It's been a long road to get to this point — slowed by a pandemic, an ensuing construction crunch and a thorough environmental remediation of the brownfield site that used to house part of the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium.
But the steel rising over Canalside heralds movement on Heritage Point, a 61-unit apartment community spearheaded by Sinatra & Company Real Estate.
"We are progressing, going vertical right now, as you can see by looking at the site," said Matt Connors, vice president of development for the company. "It was extensive cleanup, but once we got our foundation down it was a lot less of an issue."
