BUFFALO, N.Y. — The backroom shelves of Burgio's TV Sales and Service are piled with decades of television history, hundreds of modern flat screens alongside classic tube TVs, VCRs and other accessories.
There used to be a lot more, but Burgio is liquidating his inventory as he prepares to close shop. This week he sold the 100-year-old building at 2297 Main St.
"I just felt it was time," said Burgio. "I'm 65 now. I've been doing this for a long time. In all honesty, I was starting to tell my wife, 'I don't feel like going to work today.' And I loved going to work."
