BUFFALO, N.Y. — Resurgence Brewing's plan to open a second site at Canalside this summer follows a growing trend of breweries expanding locally and statewide.
Resurgence, based at 55 Ohio St., is taking over the former Clinton’s Dish location, where it will offer food and beverages at a waterfront beer garden space.
The expansion comes as:
- Community Beer Works completes the acquisition of Thin Man Brewery's production site on Chandler Street;
- New York Beer Project readies another site in Orchard Park;
- 42 North Brewing’s recently opened a new location downtown at Wurlitzer at the Flats;
- Big Ditch Brewing Co., 55 E Huron St., plans to add another site in Lockport.
