BUFFALO, N.Y. — As business ramps up at his new restaurant, Steve Calvaneso is selling another piece of his portfolio in Amherst.

Bogie’s Bar & Grill at 4414 Bailey Ave. will transition to new owners Chris Gullion and John Zeman of Saranac Lake Emporium LLC, who plan to keep things just as they are, other than shifting the name to Bogie's Tavern.

“We’re big fans of the neighborhood tavern, especially in our area – we both live in the neighborhood,” Gullion said.

It’s part of a deal that includes both the business and the 2,680-square-foot building, which includes parking on both sides of the building. Calvaneso, owner of Ultimate Restaurant Group, says it's a straight real estate sale for $450,000, with the business to be signed over once the new liquor license comes through. Closing is slated for June 24.
