SILVER CREEK, N.Y. — A new beach resort is getting closer to opening on the Lake Erie shoreline in Silver Creek.
Hideaway Bay Resort is slated to open in mid-June at 42 Lake Ave., offering a waterfront restaurant and private event space with 2,365 square feet on the main level and 1,577 square feet upstairs with patios at both levels. Plus, there are 10 private villas, each 560 square feet with 224-square feet of patio space and access to outdoor recreation.
The $2 million project has been in the works since 2020, when a proposal by Kevin Cullen and his wife Christian Edie were selected by the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency and the county planning department to redevelop the four-acre property.
