WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Bloom & Rose has identified a location in Williamsville for a brick-and-mortar deli, with a plan to make it happen through crowdfunding.

The knish company is eyeing a site at 5365 Main St., a former Monro Muffler, where it wants to build a sit-down restaurant and Jewish deli to replace its commissary kitchen at 27 Chandler St. in Buffalo. A lease is expected to be finalized in early November.

The 2,262-square-foot building, which includes a 16-spot parking lot, was sold last summer for $705,000. The site was previously considered by the Cheesy Chick Café & Food Trucks for an expansion.
