LANCASTER, New York — A Batavia-area pizzeria chain is expanding westward into the Buffalo market.

Pizza 151 has signed a lease for 3,000 square feet at 10 N. Aurora St., Lancaster, where Save-A-Lot closed in late August. The pizza shop will focus on takeout and delivery, but it will offer outdoor seating and possibly some indoor spots in a shared space as the supermarket transitions into a mixed-use commercial building.

The location will join three other Pizza 151 sites in Batavia, LeRoy and North Chili, where owner Eric Levan has built a small but growing chain of pizzerias over the past five years.
